Position Overview: 

Diligent is looking for a highly professional and motivated individual to combine their technical knowledge with commercial skills to effectively uncover and develop solutions for prospects and customers. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships, as you will interface directly with leaders of large multi-national companies and other key GRC and ESG personas. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) business requirements in order to select and develop tailored software solutions.
  • Building uses cases and demo prototypes using Python to help convey Diligent’s value to prospects & clients.
  • Preparing demo assets and materials for customer engagements.
  • Delivering software demonstrations and proof of concepts (POCs) to prospective customers.
  • Collaborating with sales and other teams in order to deliver great customer buying experiences.
  • Liaising with Product Management teams to understand new capabilities and pass on customer feedback.
  • Understanding and supporting the overall sales process, taking responsibility over the pre-sales technical win.
  • Explaining Diligent's company and product vision to customers, industry experts and analysts.
  • Supporting marketing events including webinars, conferences and thought-leadership initiative.

Required Experience/Skills: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing for process automation, enterprise software configuration, and data integration.
  • Strong Python development skills and experience in building integrating systems via REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with common Python libraries such as Pandas and Requests.
  • Experience in pre-sales, business analysis, consulting, implementation or other customer-centric role within a software/SaaS business.
  • Experience with building prototypes, automation scripts, and custom tools to demonstrate integrations.
  • Keen interest in working within the GRC domain.
  • Professional communication and presentation skills in person and in writing (including to senior stakeholders).
  • Domain experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance, Audit or Data Analytics preferred.
