Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to team members, helping with tasks like document review and editing, project tracking, and special projects as needed by the contract.
- Create file structures to manage internal documents efficiently. Input and maintain data in spreadsheets, databases, and other software systems such as Microsoft Project.
- Attend team meetings, take notes, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure employees have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- Ensure personnel have necessary access requirements met for shipyard, ship, and base access. Monitor that all personnel have completed the required trainings and certifications.
- Manage employee travel through coordinating flight bookings, hotel accommodations, and itineraries. Facilitate the submission of expense reports after travel occurs.
- Work closely with the team to ensure contract deliverables are created and submitted on time, with accuracy and adherence to the contract PWS.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Business or Computer Science or High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Four (4) years with degree or Eight (8) years with HS/GED of experience, to include: word processing, spreadsheet development, documenting management issues, financial analysis, data collection, report processing, brief preparation, read milestone schedules and send and receive emails.
- Two (2) years of work experience shall be within DoD. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
- Active Secret Clearance walking through the door
