POSITION SUMMARY

This role is an in office role starting fall 2025.

We are seeking a motivated Reddit Marketing Intern to help build an authentic brand presence within Reddit communities. In this role, you’ll engage with users, adapt content for Reddit, monitor brand mentions, and manage multiple accounts to build trust and credibility. This internship offers valuable experience in digital marketing, community engagement, and analytics while contributing to our brand’s visibility on a dynamic social platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily Reddit Engagement: Actively participate in relevant subreddits (posting and commenting) to build karma and trust. The intern will answer questions, share valuable insights, and engage with users to foster a positive community presence for our brand.
  • Content Repurposing: Adapt our existing content (blog posts, FAQs, whitepapers) into Reddit-friendly posts or answers. This involves writing in an authentic, non-promotional tone so that our content adds value to discussions and isn’t flagged as marketing spam.
  • Subreddit Monitoring: Monitor key subreddits for mentions of our company, products, or industry topics. The intern will quickly respond to relevant threads, address misconceptions, and highlight opportunities where our expertise can shine.
  • Karma & Account Management: Develop a reputable Reddit account with high karma, which improves content visibility. This means regularly contributing helpful content (even outside direct brand mentions) to establish credibility.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with different members of the team to align Reddit activities with our SEO, GEO, and community strategies. They will also feed community insights back to the content team for new content ideas.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track Reddit metrics (post engagements, upvotes, referral traffic) and report on how Reddit efforts are impacting web traffic, lead inquiries, and brand sentiment. The intern will deliver a monthly Reddit impact report, including any influence on Google’s “Discussions and forums” visibility or AI summary mentions of our brand.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field;
  • Experience with Reddit and familiarity with its platform dynamics;
  • Understanding of SEO and GEO marketing strategies;
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities;
  • Strong project management skills, including managing multiple Reddit accounts;
  • Excellent written communication skills;
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting ideas clearly;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred;
  • Familiarity with task management software such as Asana;
  • Proficiency in using AI tools like ChatGPT is required.
