The Role
Are you a highly motivated IT professional with a passion for technology and a knack for problem-solving? Donorbox is looking for a part-time IT Operations Technician to support our global, remote team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the seamless functioning of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Track, document and manage IT issues and resolutions through a ticketing system.
- Provide detailed documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolution.
- Maintain and update technical documentation.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktop computers, laptops, and network connectivity.
- Provide technical support primarily for Mac workstations, with some exposure to Windows and Linux systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and software, particularly in Mac environments.
- Understanding of MDM solutions.
- Experience with Google Workspace.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Customer-oriented approach with a focus on providing excellent service.
- Prior experience working remotely is highly preferred.
- Prior experience working with a helpdesk/IT ticketing system is highly preferred.
Details
- Fully remote based in Eastern Europe, Latin America, or United States
- Part-time (4-6 hours a day)
- Hourly: $11.50-$30 USD, based on experience and location
