On the Merchant Strategy & Ops team, our mission is to have best-in class restaurant selection, build cutting edge services for our merchants to grow their business, and help our partners operate seamlessly.

About the Role

Ready to roll up your sleeves and help shape the engine behind DoorDash Canada? We’re hiring for two Senior Associates to join our high-impact team and tackle some of the most critical levers in our business.

On our Merchant Growth team, we are looking for an operator with a strong bias to action who loves using data to solve problems. We operate relentlessly towards sustainably growing our merchants' sales by optimizing how we deploy our promotions budget, owning product go-to-market plans and incubating new ideas to help our partners grow. Specifically, you will take ownership of our Merchant Growth and Promos function, which will involve creating and executing new promotions strategies, optimizing existing ones, managing one of the largest budgets to generate the most efficient growth for the business and leading other initiatives that will accelerate the growth of our merchants’ businesses.

On our Merchant Operations team, we’re looking for a sharp, driven team member to take ownership of core operational metrics, boosting High Quality Delivery rates, minimizing defect-related costs, and driving partner accountability across the board. You’ll work side-by-side with Live Ops and cross-functional partners to launch proactive solutions that move the needle fast.   • Optimize – Build the best merchant growth engine so DoorDash continues to offer the highest quality selection for its customers and retain our merchants 
  • Partner – Equip cross-functional teams with the data and insights to influence and drive successful changes, taking feedback and putting it quickly into action

We’re excited about you because you have…

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, finance, analytics or business operations experience
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher; MBA is a plus
  • Strong analytical horsepower, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights — experience with SQL and financial modeling is a plus
  • A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a bias toward action
  • Bachelors Degree or higher; MBA is a plus
