About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Lifecycle Marketing Associate to join our Marketing team. This individual will play a key role in assisting with the day-to-day lifecycle marketing tasks, supporting our retention initiatives, and helping to execute email and SMS marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and ready to contribute to various cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
This role will report to Senior Marketing Manager, Lifecycle.
This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based in Squatch HQ in Marina del Rey, CA..
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $68,640 to $70,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate and eventually be the primary individual drafting copy for email, SMS, and other retention initiatives, ensuring it aligns with the brand voice and objectives
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating lifecycle communications to ensure timely delivery
- Build and maintain lifecycle-related sheets, tracking and organizing marketing assets, customer segments, and campaign metrics
- Supports email coding for lifecycle marketing campaigns
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of communications sent through email and SMS channels
- Perform light reporting and provide insights on campaign performance
- Reporting responsibilities to expand as the individual learns more about the business
- Support ad-hoc requests from cross-functional teams as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends as they pertain to lifecycle marketing
About You:
- At least 1 year of prior experience in email marketing required.
- 1 year of experience with Klaviyo is preferred.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field).
- Proven experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable in a rapidly evolving work environment, with experience taking initiative in a scrappy start-up setting.
- Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries.
- Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency.
- Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome.
- Someone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor.
