As a Trading Operations Analyst, your work will involve reconciliation, balancing of accounts, profit-and-loss calculation and analysis, trade capture and a variety of other activities to support the firm’s trading activities in various asset classes.  In this role, you’ll have regular, direct interaction with a variety of teams, including finance, technology, operations, and the front office.  The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of professionalism is paramount.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform detailed trade, position, and valuation reconciliation
• Provide assistance in trade capture for all products related to the firm’s activity
• Field reconciliation-related inquiries from a variety of teams within the firm
• Support trade management activities, such as processing expirations, exercises and assignments, corporate actions etc.
• Broad operational support of the firm’s trading desks located in Singapore
• Mastery of the firm’s proprietary trade capture, inventory management, and P&L reporting systems necessary to support the desk’s activity
• Act as process super-user for current functionality and provide critical support and advice regarding needed enhancements to technology, workflows, and processes
• Liaise with technical personnel to secure proper support/coverage for ongoing operations as well as procure enhancements for insufficient or new workflows
• Adopt, integrate, and promote new technology as it becomes available

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in in detail-oriented role working at a working at a hedge fund, prop, or investment bank, ideally in a middle office or back-office function.
• Prior background in exchange-traded futures and futures options, equities and equities options, and FX spot/forwards and options
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented environment, and thrive under time-sensitive and high-pressure situations
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or another quantitative field or material equivalent exposure
• Meticulous attention to details and accuracy in work
• Self-starter with strong proactivity, sets ambitious goals, willingness to drive and own projects, and proactively identifies opportunities for impact
• Strong MS Excel and SQL background is required
• Previous experience with Python, SQL, VBA, or PowerQuery are highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact and collaborate with global teams
