The Performance Platform team is looking for a Senior Modem/DSP Engineer to help develop our next generation of wireless modem products. The successful candidate will be trained and assist in the whole design and test process of making digital wireless systems. You will work in a small team and engage with other engineering disciplines.
Qualifications:
- BSEE required
- Experience in DSP / Modem algorithms and designs
- Knowledge of RF / wireless communication system
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
- Experience with lab testing of digital and RF systems, using equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python
- Experience with mathematical modeling tools such as Matlab
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating system
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated
- Good communication skills
- Ability and desire to learn quickly
Recommended Skills:
- Experience in FPGA design
- Experience with HDL languages such as Verilog and VHDL
- Experience with embedded software using C/C++
- Passionate about researching new technologies and their potential applications
- Experience leveraging agentic AI tools to enhance productivity
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design of microwave digital modems
- Perform lab testing of digital and RF systems
- Develop and maintain automated tests
- Produce documentation such as test reports, user guides, and release changelogs
- Participate in subsystem and system level integration, validation, and trouble shooting
