Role Overview
- Location: On-Site (Monterrey, Mexico
- Schedule: 1st Shift (6:30a-5p); Monday through Friday with willingness to provide weekend/holiday coverage.
- Pay Rate: 23,000 MXN (monthly)
Your Mission as a Field Service Technician
- Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and onsite assistance.
- Manage daily technology operations including network, email, and software systems.
- Support macOS (including macOS Server), Windows Desktop/Server, iOS devices, Google Admin Console, and VMware environments.
- Administer and support Workgroup Manager, Open Directory, Active Directory, and Google Console.
- Install and configure desktops, servers, printers, and peripheral equipment.
- Install and troubleshoot interactive teaching technologies such as boards and projectors.
- Diagnose issues and repair or replace non-functioning computer equipment.
- Create, maintain, and update standardized computer images.
- Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot networking equipment.
- Install, update, and support software and operating system patches.
- Track and maintain software license compliance.
- Support telephone system issues and coordinate repair requests when needed.
- Ensure physical security and control of all IT assets.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for purchases, placement, repairs, and asset disposition.
- Retain strong working knowledge of all supported systems to enable efficient troubleshooting.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer technology or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in computer hardware and software installation and maintenance (preferred).
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all organizational levels.
- Successful completion of a background check prior to hire.
Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency deploying software using Network, Server, and MDM-based tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written, diagrammatic, and verbal instructions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, using hands, reaching, talking, and hearing.
- Visual acuity including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
