POSITION SUMMARY
EarnIn is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas through strategic lead generation and qualification. The ideal candidate is adept at identifying new business opportunities through market analysis, cold calling, and email campaigns. They are proficient in using CRM software to manage pipelines and maintain accurate client databases, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads for the sales team. This individual possesses exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building long-term, trusting relationships with potential clients, and seeks to leverage a strong work ethic and competitive drive to contribute to the company’s growth.
This is a hybrid position, 2 days/week in our Mountain View, CA HQ office. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000 - $170,000 OTE + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform all lead generation activities to support the sales pipeline.
- Follow up on inbound inquiries and convert them into qualified opportunities.
- Call on target accounts and execute structured outreach campaigns.
- Qualify prospects and guide them into the sales funnel.
- Conduct strategic outbound prospecting, including account mapping and research.
- Understand target accounts, their decision-making processes, timing, and software usage.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and cross-functional teams to execute messaging and enablement campaigns.
- Refine and iterate on marketing materials, pitch decks, and call scripts to improve effectiveness.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- 2–3 years of experience in outbound sales or business development.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Proficiency in CRM software and pipeline management.
- Experience with email campaigns and outbound prospecting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform account mapping and lead follow-ups with precision and persistence.
- Experience collaborating on marketing campaigns.
- Industry experience selling HR, benefits, payroll, or related software is a plus.
