Your role with us: 

As a Product Design Team Lead, you'll combine hands-on product design with people leadership, guiding a team of designers to deliver intuitive, high-quality experiences that align with both user needs and business goals. You'll coach and develop your team through meaningful feedback, mentoring, and collaboration, while leading by example across key product initiatives.

Working closely with Product Design, Product, and Engineering leaders, you'll help shape product direction, influence roadmap decisions, and champion design as a strategic function across the business. You'll also play a key role in embedding AI into both our products and design practices, driving innovation that enhances user experiences and empowers the team to work smarter.

What you will do: 

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Designers through coaching, feedback, and career development.
• Drive the delivery of high-quality design outcomes across key product initiatives, from discovery through to launch.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape roadmaps, influence product strategy, and advocate for user-centred design.
• Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and workflows to improve design quality, creativity, and team efficiency.
• Maintain high design standards through reviews, critiques, and hands-on contribution to design work.
• Identify opportunities to evolve our design systems, processes, and ways of working to support scalable product growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing design culture built on continuous learning and improvement.

What you will bring: 

• 6+ years' experience in Product Design, including experience in a leadership role.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design across complex digital products.
• Proven experience mentoring, coaching, and developing designers to deliver their best work.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to influence product direction.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to present ideas, facilitate discussions, and advocate for design decisions.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI, with experience designing AI-powered experiences or exploring how AI can enhance products and design workflows.
• A collaborative leadership style that inspires high-performing teams and fosters a culture of continuous improvement

Bonus points if you also have:

• Sports & Gambling knowledge advantageous
• Cryptocurrency knowledge would be advantageous
• Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Jira & Intercom
