Account Manager-Risk Management

ACCOUNT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Overall Duties Include

  • Maintain Producer account compensation organizer; verify that all fees are collected
  • Maintain organized and efficient Producer Team calendar
  • Manage Annual Renewal Strategy Process on every account
  • Manage Annual Stewardship Process / Meeting on “$100K+ Accounts”
  • Organize and manage Monthly Open Items Meetings on $100K+ Accounts

Service

  • Coordinate EPIC team members content and art/prose for customized written materials, presentations, RFP responses.
  • Assist Producer in conceptualizing and planning quarterly client/prospect events. Tactical aspects of partnering with law/accounting/underwriting partners to share in the cost as well as the invitees with law/accounting/strategy firms and insurers when appropriate and useful. Collaborate with Marketing & Communications colleagues in executing the vision, content, and logistics
  • Identify Howden One offices, Producers, accounts and prospects to drive inward-bound opportunities
  • Strategize with Producer on prioritization of suspects and early-stage prospects, engagement strategy and execution
  • Maintain ownership and strategy for Producer social media (LinkedIn) presence, content and engagement
  • Research industries where Producer and EPIC perform well, identifying and prioritizing new suspects and targets. Present to Producer and AM on weekly basis where top 5 targets become suspects
  • Second-level research on Top 5 identifies suspects, aimed at further refinement of Prospect list, coordinating and presenting content to Producer and SA to determine sales process on each
  • Coordinate with AM and EPIC resources on written materials for presentations, RFP responses etc. on a tactical and administrative level (print/bind in house and FedEx office when necessary)
  • Other duties may be assigned

  • Stay informed regarding industry information, new product/program developments, coverages, legislation, technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements : 

  • College Degree or equal to experience (2-4 years of insurance industry experience)
  • Current/Active Georgia Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
  • Proficiency with a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and LinkedIn
  • Must be able to work in a fast‐paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
