JOB OVERVIEW:
This role is part of our team that focuses on supporting Law Firms. The Insurance Account Specialist supports the law firm account teams by managing the client renewal process including, but not limited to maintaining client folders, producing client facing material and deliverables and preparing invoices. This entry-level role will be heavily focused on learning and performing the administrative tasks necessary to support the client account teams; this is a service & support role, NOT a sales role.
LOCATION: HYBRID - This role must be willing & able to work 3 days a week in our downtown Chicago office (125 South Wacker)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):
- Input client information into Sagitta (agency management software system)
- Schedule Renewal Planning Meetings
- Request loss run reports from the various carriers and/or underwriters
- Upload renewal applications and underwriting information to client application preparation platform
- Draft Renewal Planner which entails creating, updating and gathering multiple documents
- Update/maintain Principal Calendar with client meetings, events etc.
- Prepare client deliverables for Professional Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Cyber and Management Liability lines
- Maintain the claims folder (process notices and updates, save data in appropriate files and applications and update client teams)
- Update and maintain client information in Salesforce
- Monitor claims email box and maintain the Claims folder
- Assist with event coordination (Best Practices, etc.)
- Provide support with vendor payables
- Generate reports for account teams and leadership as needed
- Provide day-to-day support with routine inquires and transactions concerning client
- Other administrative duties as needed
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Advanced knowledge of navigating the Internet as well as various Microsoft Office programs to include Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
- Strong ability to multi-task and assign priority
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently both with and without direct supervision
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment as well as independently
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires teamwork, demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. College degree preferred
- 1+ years' experience in the professional services industry (preferably in insurance or legal/law firm industries)
- Experience with agency management software (preferably Sagitta, ImageRight and Salesforce) preferred but not required
- Licensed property/casualty insurance agent/broker license; if not already licensed, we will provide the opportunity to get licensed.
COMPENSATION:
The national average hourly rate for this role is $28.21 - $31.79 per hour in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
