JOB OVERVIEW:

This is a hybrid role combining responsibilities from Client Executive, Senior Client Manager, and Assistant Client Manager positions. The Experienced Client Relationship Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for a defined book of middle market Property & Casualty clients, managing all aspects of client service, renewal strategy, and operational execution. This role is ideal for a highly motivated insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with the business.

This role is designed to evolve and grow! As the book of business and team expand, responsibilities will be redistributed to specialized roles (e.g., Assistant Client Manager, Senior Client Manager), allowing this position to focus more on strategic client leadership and mentorship.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • REQUIRED: At least 5+ years of commercial insurance account management or brokering experience.
  • LOCATION: This will start out as a work-from-home role, however we anticipate opening an office in Seattle sometime later in 2025. At that time this will become a hybrid role, so we're only considering qualified candidates in Washington State at this time, preferably in the Seattle area.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):

Client Relationship & Service

  • Serve as the lead contact for all client service needs, ensuring high levels of trust, responsiveness, and satisfaction.
  • Manage daily account servicing, including certificates, endorsements, audits, and policy reviews.
  • Proactively identify client needs and coordinate internal resources to deliver solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in agency systems (e.g., Sagitta, ImageRight).

Renewals & Marketing

  • Lead the renewal process from start to finish: gather data, analyze loss runs, prepare proposals, and negotiate with carriers.
  • Develop and present renewal strategies and stewardship reports.
  • Coordinate with underwriters, brokers, and carriers to secure optimal terms and pricing.

Operational Execution

  • Oversee policy issuance, checking, and delivery.
  • Manage open items, suspense tasks, and compliance with internal workflows.
  • Support onboarding of new clients and assist with special projects as needed.

Team Collaboration & Development

  • Mentor and support junior team members as the team grows.
  • Collaborate with Producers, Claims Advocates, and Risk Control Consultants to deliver holistic client solutions.
  • Participate in internal training, lunch-and-learns, and external workshops to stay current on industry trends.

New Business Development & Onboarding

  • Partner with Producers and internal stakeholders to support the acquisition and onboarding of new middle market P&C clients.
  • Lead or assist in the preparation of new business proposals, presentations, and marketing materials tailored to client-specific needs.
  • Coordinate and attend prospect meetings, providing subject matter expertise and ensuring alignment between client expectations and service capabilities.
  • Set up and manage new business checklists, including ordering loss runs, modifiers, and certificates, and initiating policy setup in agency systems (e.g., Sagitta, ImageRight).
  • Conduct initial policy reviews and ensure timely and accurate delivery of all onboarding documentation.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and carrier partners to secure competitive terms and coverage for new accounts.
  • Maintain detailed records of new business activity, ensuring all documentation is filed and accessible for future servicing.
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and refer to appropriate internal teams (e.g., Employee Benefits, Risk Control).
  • Support the transition of new clients into ongoing service workflows, ensuring a seamless handoff and high client satisfaction from day one.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5+ years of commercial P&C insurance experience, preferably in a client-facing or account management role.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance coverages, renewal processes, and carrier relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sagitta, ImageRight, and carrier platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid Property & Casualty License (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

COMPENSATION:

The national average salary for this role is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
