The Private Client Team Leader is responsible for providing exceptional service to a group of Private Client customers by providing professional advice and demonstrating advocacy for the client at all times. The Team
Leader provides support to the Private Client team in training, relationship management and problem solving.
Critical Job Functions:
- Become a trusted advisor and provide exemplary service in all aspects to our Private Clients.
- Work as a team with other Private Client Relationship Managers and Account Managers, Private Client Associates, Private Client Advisors and EPIC Private Client leadership team.
- Actively participate in thought leadership as EPIC grows and optimizes the private client practice
- Provide mentorship and leadership to Private Client Associates
- Develop cooperative and professional relationships with our carriers.
- Manage renewal activity from start to close.
- Deliver complete and accurate renewal reviews according to agency guidelines.
- Look for sales opportunities by account rounding and selling additional coverage.
- Assume ownership of customer concerns and feedback until completion.
- Remarket accounts according to agency guidelines or at the request of the producer or insured.
- Assist Private Client Advisors in initial discussions with prospective clients and the on boarding of new clients when needed.
- Take on additional responsibilities. Manage projects as directed by EPIC Private Client Leadership.
- Comply with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet performance and quality standards.
Team Leader Specific Responsibilities:
- Maintain workload as required for the primary Private Client Relationship Manager position.
- Act as role model to the PC team consistently providing excellent customer service.
- Act as a resource to the PC Team on customer issues, carrier issues and technical aspects of the position.
- Assist in the onboarding, growth and development of both new and existing Private Client staff members.
- Accompany Account Managers on client annual review meetings as needed.
- Work with management to continuously improve PC processes and procedures to deliver a better outcome to internal and external clients. This could be through training and/or technical improvements.
- Provide training and instruction to PC account management team to institutionalize the process.
- Foster strong relationships with producers, managers, carriers and colleagues.
- Work closely with Manager(s) to meet departmental goals.

Educational Requirements:
- College graduate or experience equivalent.
- Possession and Maintenance of a resident state broker's license.
- Holds or is pursuing an insurance industry designation such as CPCU, CIC, AAI
COMPENSATION:
The national average salary for this role is $100 000.00 - $130 000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
