WHAT IS THE POSITION
Edmentum’s Tax Manager is accountable for global tax compliance, accounting, reporting, and strategy. The right candidate possesses strong technical skills, understands industry best practices for processes and tools, and effectively leverages and manages external firms and technology to efficiently deliver a comprehensive tax function.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage global income tax compliance, including oversight of tax returns, payments, filing, notice management, nexus evaluations, and agency audits when applicable.
- Own all tax accounting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual provisions, tax account reconciliations, US GAAP and Statutory Audit engagements,
- Identify, evaluate, and action strategic opportunities to reduce Edmentum’s effective tax rate and cash tax rate.
- Implement and maintain scalable processes for indirect tax compliance, including sales, use, franchise, and other indirect taxes across all applicable jurisdictions.
- Maintain intercompany transfer pricing agreements, compliance, evaluations, and processes.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their potential impact on the company and advising on action plans as appropriate.
- Evaluate, select, and manage tax consultants engaged for expertise and flexible capacity to deliver on functional responsibilities.
- Business owner of tax related systems and technology, including ERP, sales tax management software, etc.
WHAT IS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA
- Minimum of 7 years of experience, including tax manager experience in industry or a large public accounting firm
- Masters Degree in Taxation preferred.
- Maintain working knowledge of industry, market, and competitive landscape

Pay range for this role:
$110,000 - $150,000 USD

The salary range provided reflects market research, the responsibilities of the role, and alignment with our compensation principles. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
