Position Summary 

Effectual Project Manager I are members of the Project Management Office within Effectual Professional Services (PS) organization responsible for ensuring that customer-facing projects are delivered in-scope, on-time, and on-budget with customer satisfaction, while ensuring a positive experience for the delivery team. You are a "Brand Ambassador" and are expected to advocate for achieving our customer's defined outcomes through the delivery of our services, leading our Professional Services software development and cloud engineering teams.  

In this client-facing role, you'll work with traditional project management & Agile/Scrum practices to deliver solutions on time and within budget. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, PMO, you'll collaborate with dynamic cross-functional teams to manage resources, track progress, and align with organizational goals and drives real value for our clients.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Project Planning and Execution 

  • Assist with the planning and execution of projects, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. 

Team Management 

  • Provide direction and guidance to project teams, motivating them to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results.  
  • Assign tasks, assist in setting priorities, and foster a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.  
  • Administer the back-ends systems and process that allow the technical teams to focus on project delivery 

Risk Management 

  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success and develop strategies to mitigate them.  
  • Proactively monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing contingency plans as needed to minimize disruptions.  

Client Relationship Management:  

  • Serve as point of contact for clients, building and maintaining relationships through regular communication and collaboration.  
  • Keep clients informed of project progress, address their concerns, and seek opportunities to add value to their business.  

Quality Assurance 

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.  
  • Conduct regular reviews and administer corrective actions as necessary to maintain project quality and client satisfaction. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field 
  • 2-4 years experience as a Project Manager or similar role within a Professional Services organization 
  • 1-3 years experience working with AWS Cloud 

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience 

  • Experience JIRA and/or Confluence or other project management tools 
  • PMI Certifications – PMP or CAPM preferred 
  • Agile certifications – AGILE, CSM 
  • AWS certifications (e.g.: Cloud Practitioner)

Salary Range for this position: $88,000-$112,000 

"Salary ranges provided are for informational purposes only and may vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and geographic location. The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's skills and alignment with the role requirements."
