E-gineering seeks a Senior Developer with in-depth technical knowledge and a passion for delivering value.

Applicants should live near Indianapolis, IN, as there will be time at the client's office. 

Technical Skills/Experience Requirements 

Must have:

• 5+ years of Software Development experience
• React 
• Python 
• SQL ability

Desired: 

• General AWS/cloud computing familiarity 

Nice to have: 

• Django 
• AWS Lambda 

Soft Skills Required 

• Mentoring younger developers  
• Strong communication skills: Ability to explain complex issues and solutions verbally and in written form  
• Proactively remove barriers to success:  Proactively identify potential barriers to project success and work collaboratively with the team to remove barriers  
• Actively participate in healthy conflict: Ability to have different opinions than team members and clients and effectively come to unified decisions 

Client Details: 

• Industry: Government Agency
• Location: Indiana, EST time zone 

Project Details 

• Support the development of new features and legacy applications 
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers 

Duration:   

• Initial contract through January 31, 2025 
• High probability of extension (75%) 

Working Conditions 

• One day/week on-site in Indianapolis is preferred 
• Flexible daily work schedule as long as working within the hours of 9:00 to 4:00 EST 
• Work 36-40 hours per week (except for holidays, vacations, illness)  
• Use the Client’s workstation
