External Referrals Sales Executive

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and organized individual as a field sales representative who will maintain and grow existing accounts and bring in new referral business with Physicians, and healthcare institutions. 

This role will be based in Ohio with expectation for local travel within the state. 

This role will report to the Director of Inbound and Engagement.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Spend time in the field developing sources for member referrals, conducting meetings and introductions all with the goal of furthering our company brand and value to new and existing referral partners and organizations.
  • Understand Eleanor Health’s care mode and be able to communicate its value in a clear, compassionate way to other business professionals within our community including physicians, operations managers and other stakeholders at referring organizations. 
  • Execute our on-the-ground strategy to develop partnerships with organizations in our community including Residential Treatment Centers, PHP/IOP, ED, etc.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a CRM in Salesforce to document growth and scale.
  • Ability to update/document our tools to capture field work such as meetings, phone calls, and introductions, as well as set up cadences within those tools for follow up touch points.
  • Identify different partnership strategies by organization type to develop long lasting relationships.
  • Develop internal relationships to seek and gather feedback from our team to improve our referral strategy.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience developing Sales processes and techniques with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Have strong interpersonal communication skills, written communication skills, and active listening abilities
  • Ability to build trust quickly and translate complex concepts like our care model at all levels of leadership internally and externally
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, active listening abilities, and motivational interviewing skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborate, start up environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours that meet our referral partners’ needs 
  • Must be located within Ohio with expectation for local travel within the state

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field 
  • 3-4 years of sales experience in the medical field. Experience in substance use/alcohol use space is a plus
  • Experience developing Sales processes and techniques with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years experience with B2B sales in the medical field

Compensation & Benefits:

The target annual compensation range for this position is $70,000-85,000 base + commission. The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
