As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Secondary Marketing Analyst to join our team and support trade management, settlement operations, loan delivery, and investor execution while helping drive efficiency across our capital markets operations.

The Secondary Marketing Analyst is an essential member of our Secondary Marketing team, responsible for managing the operational execution of mortgage trades from confirmation through settlement.

In this role, you'll collaborate with broker-dealers, investors, internal operations teams, and capital markets leadership to ensure timely trade execution, accurate settlements, GNMA pooling, and optimized loan delivery strategies that directly contribute to company profitability and operational excellence.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

📈 Trade Management & Execution

• Confirm TBA and specified pool trades with broker-dealers while validating trade details and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage the complete trade lifecycle from execution through settlement.
• Monitor trade activity to ensure timely execution and operational accuracy.
• Coordinate trade assignments and investor communications.
• Support best execution strategies across agency and government products.

💰 Settlement Operations

• Manage class settlements, including pool allocations and 48-hour notifications.
• Coordinate settlement activities with broker-dealers through good-day settlement.
• Execute pool settlements by coordinating loan delivery, wire instructions, and confirmation of settlement funds.
• Ensure timely and accurate settlement documentation.
• Resolve settlement issues and delivery exceptions as they arise.

🏦 Bulk Bidding & Loan Delivery

• Support bulk bid origination by preparing bid tapes and distributing opportunities to investors.
• Analyze investor bids and assist in determining best execution awards.
• Coordinate investor communications throughout the bidding process.
• Support mandatory trade executions and delivery strategies.
• Assist with assignment of trade (AOT) execution activities.

📋 GNMA Pooling & Certification

• Execute GNMA pooling activities from pool formation through final certification.
• Validate loan eligibility and pool compliance requirements.
• Complete initial and final GNMA certifications.
• Ensure pools meet investor and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate timely delivery of pooled loans.

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Capital Markets, Operations, Accounting, Servicing, and Investors to support loan delivery activities.
• Communicate trade status, settlement updates, and operational issues to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting throughout the trade process.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and execution.
• Perform additional responsibilities that support the Secondary Marketing team.

🎯 What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Associate degree also considered).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Secondary Marketing, Capital Markets, Trade Management, or Mortgage Loan Delivery.
• Experience managing trade structuring and delivery across both GNMA and Conventional executions.
• Strong understanding of the complete mortgage trade lifecycle from execution through settlement.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mandatory mortgage trading.
• Knowledge of bulk bidding and investor execution strategies.
• Experience with Assignment of Trade (AOT) executions.
• Familiarity with hedge and pipeline modeling.
• Knowledge of agency mortgage-backed securities and capital markets operations.
• Experience working with broker-dealers, investors, and mortgage loan delivery.
• Mortgage industry experience preferred.
• No certifications are required for this position.

Your day may include:

• Confirming mortgage trades with broker-dealers.
• Managing class and pool settlement activities.
• Coordinating loan deliveries with investors.
• Preparing and distributing bulk bid tapes.
• Reviewing investor bids and supporting best execution decisions.
• Executing GNMA pooling and certification activities.
• Monitoring settlements and resolving delivery issues.
• Collaborating with Capital Markets, Operations, and Accounting teams to ensure smooth execution throughout the loan delivery process.
