Summary/Objective
As a leader on the branch team, the Associate Branch Manager is responsible for leading and coaching the teller team and responding to escalations in the branch. Additionally, the role is responsible for collaborating with the Branch Manager to lead the operational, transactional, compliance and member experience focuses of the branch, as well as leads the branch in the Branch Manager's absence. The Associate Branch Manager is an important part of the branch team that creates raving fans through delivering amazing experiences—every member, every time.
Essential Functions:
- Cultivates passion for Elevations Credit Union through leadership of teller team and demonstrates Elevations’ core values, Integrity, Respect, Passion, Creativity, and Excellence.
- Coaches and supports tellers to ensure operational excellence and deliver amazing experiences - every member, every time.
- Collaborates with Branch Manager to resolve service issues including both direct member service and long-term service improvements.
- Engages members and actively leads team in a manner that models the Personalized, Elegant, Accurate, Kind, and Timely (PEAK’t) service model; using care, professionalism, and the highest level of service, exhibiting strong conflict resolution skills when needed.
- Serves as focal point for communication to and from the branch in areas of operational effectiveness, controls, compliance, risk management, transactional processes, and member experience as it relates to process and operations.
- Oversees the completion of all branch cash control audits to include individual cash positions, vault, dispensers and/or recyclers.
- Responsible for managing the escalation of internal branch requests to include but not limited to, facility repairs, computer or system issue resolution or safety and security issues.
- Adheres to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- 4+ years’ experience in financial services industry
- In-depth understanding of teller role and expert knowledge of financial transactions
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong understanding of branch audit control
- Strong understanding of core operating and ancillary support systems
- 1+year of branch operations leadership experience.
- 1+ year supervisory experience.
- Ability to respond to escalated member and employee situations in branch
Work Environment:
Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and up to 25 lbs of force infrequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Full time 40 hours per week
- Days of work: Monday – Saturday
Compensation Information:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $58,291.45 and 72,864.31 annual salary, plus annual bonus.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
