Eliot is seeking a compassionate and committed Senior Residential Clinician  for our Juvenile Justice residential program. Eliot's Juvenile Justice residential program provides placement for court-involved youth, ages 13 to 21, while awaiting court proceedings assessment, or and those involved in treatment. This  highly structured, self-contained program provides comprehensive interventions for juvenile offenders, including fully accredited schools and clinical support with individual and group therapy, staffed by trained professionals. All components are integrated through a Positive Youth Development framework 

In this role you will provide individual, family and group clinical support, therapy and interventions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents in a team environment, and an understanding and/or willingness to learn and implement the tenets of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with youth, parents, referral and funding sources, siblings and/or extended safety nets.
  • Provide individual and family therapy in accordance with the program, Department of Youth Services (DYS), Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC) and Eliot policies and procedures.
  • Manage the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans.
  • Supervise case management and advocacy for youth.
  • Have knowledge of resources in each community in which youth live.
  • Attend administrative, staff, and shift change meetings, and facilitate clinical and community meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW 
  • At least three years direct experience with the population.
  • Knowledge and experience with clinical issues of children and adolescents and working knowledge of DBT and substance use/substance use disorder.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with residents, staff, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultures.
  • Ability to physically carry out Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques.

Schedule: Flexibility in an evening schedule. 30-40 hours per week, Monday- Friday, no weekends. Shift Availability: 3pm- 9pm or 4pm-10pm. 

*Sign-on Bonus prorated to hours worked per week. 

 

Annual Salary

$60,000 - $70,000 USD
