Eliot is looking for a Director of Urgent Care to lead services within our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) Urgent Care team.

The ideal candidate for the Director of Urgent Care is a licensed behavioral health professional with substantial supervisory experience in crisis services. They will bring strong clinical leadership, a deep understanding of mental health systems and services, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams in delivering strengths-based, community-oriented care. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, crisis management, and system coordination skills to ensure seamless service delivery. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical guidance and support in developing interventions and supervision of team members. Provide direct supervision to staff both in the office and in the field.
  • Provide supervision to staff on clinical interventions, strength-based strategies and ensure services are culturally competent for individuals served.
  • Ensure that the individual is at the center of all care and that all interventions are developed and provided in a manner consistent with individual preferences.
  • Complete all required assessments, complete crisis plans and coordinate aspects of individual’s admission according to agency procedures.
  • Work alongside the Director of MCI and Director Youth Programming to ensure evaluations, safety and treatment plans and assessments are completed and thorough.
  • Provide interventions to individuals as stated by their current treatment plan or in response to the daily needs of individuals per supervisory direction and/or through the Team Huddle process.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Master’s degree in social work or counseling, with corresponding independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC) 
  • Four years of clinical experience, minimum 2 in a supervisory role. 
  • Three years of experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or substance use.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Annual Salary

$85,000 - $90,000 USD
