Eliot Community Human Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist Coordinator – OTR/L to support children and adolescents in a trauma-informed residential and community-based setting. This role provides clinical leadership, direct therapeutic interventions, staff guidance, and collaborative treatment planning to help youth build essential life skills, improve functional abilities, and achieve individualized goals.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Occupational Therapist with strong clinical judgment, experience working with youth, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments focused on sensory motor development, life skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
  • Support youth in crisis using trauma-informed and solution-focused approaches.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, schools, physicians, and community providers.
  • Supervise and support assigned staff in implementing treatment plans and interventions.
  • Complete clinical documentation, progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments within required timelines.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and provide staff training and coaching.
  • Participate in Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), crisis planning, and ongoing treatment coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, documentation, confidentiality, and mandated reporting requirements.
  • Maintain professional standards aligned with agency policies, HIPAA, and Corporate Compliance expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Licensed as an OTR/L through the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Health.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children or adolescents.
  • Experience in behavioral health, residential, or trauma-informed settings preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Schedule: Varies (8 hours per week)

Hourly Rate

$50 - $50 USD
