Eliot Community Human Services is pleased to announce the launch of its two-year Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship Program in behavioral health. This program is designed to provide recent B.A. graduates with a structured, immersive entry point into the behavioral health field, offering hands-on clinical experience, professional development, and mentorship to prepare Fellows for graduate-level study and careers in mental health services.
Fellows will be placed across a range of programs and sites within Eliot, each offering a distinct clinical focus and population. Available placements include:
- Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT)
- Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS)
- Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI)
- Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS)
Each placement provides fellows with a unique perspective on the continuum of community mental health care, from intensive community-based support to acute crisis intervention and stabilization.
What you will receive in the Fellowship Program:
Orientation and Training
All incoming fellows will begin the program with a comprehensive week-long bootcamp prior to beginning their placement. This intensive orientation is designed to ground fellows in the foundational knowledge, policies, and practices of community mental health, and to prepare them to contribute meaningfully from their first days on the team.
Enhanced Clinical Supervision and Support
Through regular individual and group supervision with Licensed Clinicians, Fellows develop strong clinical reasoning, reflective practice skills, and an understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches. This supervisory and mentor relationships are central to the Fellowship experience and ensures that each fellow is growing with intention across the two years of the program.
Monthly Learning Seminars
Fellows will participate in monthly seminars covering a broad range of topics relevant to community mental health practice. These sessions are designed to complement hands-on experience with structured learning, deepen Fellows' clinical knowledge, and support their preparation for graduate school.
