About the Design team

The Design team is a diverse group of 15 problem-solvers. We design the interfaces for all parts of the Emplifi platform. Our goal is to break down silos between teams, improve collaboration, touch the code, and use data and AI to make smarter decisions. The culture in our team is absolute honesty and no-bullshit. Processes get improved as we grow and as we discover the need for improvements. Although collaboration is the cornerstone of our team, we are also independent, which is why “tasks” are usually not assigned - instead, we trust each other to proactively act toward our common mission to build the best social media management platform for marketing, commerce, and care in the world.

As individuals, we’re quirky on the outside with geeky hearts inside, introverts and extroverts alike. We respect each other’s personalities, skillsets and enjoy working and laughing together as a team.

 

What you’ll do here

• Drive conception and ideation, user-flow design, detailed interaction design, and prototyping.
• Gather ideas for product improvements and new features directly from users.
• Work extensively with our design system, Soul (supported by a dedicated DesignOps team).
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, researchers, sales, and other stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
• Design alongside a team of seasoned designers and researchers.
• Choose whether you want to jump between products/features or own one product long-term.
• Continuously seek feedback and provide it to others.

What you’ll bring to us:

• Proficiency in Figma.
• We are not looking for a unicorn, so do not be afraid to apply even if you do not have 5 years of UX/design experience.
• Strong understanding of the UX design process.
• Prototyping and wireframing skills (paper and pencil are perfectly fine).
• Experience working in an agile team.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to communicate and present ideas to a broad audience.
• Team-oriented attitude.
• Open mind.

What Would Set You Apart: 

• Experience with no-code or AI tools to quickly generate prototypes and ideas.
• Willingness to learn and work with code, and to deliver to production when needed.
• Experience designing B2B and SaaS products.
