Marketing Systems Administrator
Lantern is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and configuring all marketing-owned technologies, including both B2B and B2C tools. Currently, the focus will be on HubSpot, Outreach, Monday.com, and the integration of marketing technologies with other internal Lantern systems. Additionally, you will be a key player in evaluating and acquiring new marketing technologies, while ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams on technical projects and solutions.
You will be the go-to person for marketing technology and will help translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring that marketing systems support overall business goals and processes effectively.
Location: Remote | USA | Travel Required
Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and optimize the marketing technologies used by Lantern, including HubSpot
- Implement and manage integrations between marketing technologies and other Lantern internal systems to streamline processes and ensure data flows seamlessly.
- Create and manage targeted lists based on segmentation parameters and importing these lists across various systems (e.g., SFDC, HubSpot, Outreach) to support marketing campaigns, sales outreach, and customer communications.
- Evaluate new marketing technologies, contributing to requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, and implementation planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, IT, Customer Success, etc.) to define technical requirements for projects where Marketing is a contributor.
- Document and communicate system configurations, workflows, automations and processes you implemented to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within marketing technologies, acting as the primary point of contact for internal teams.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across all marketing platforms, performing regular audits and data cleanup tasks.
- Provide training and support to marketing teams on how to best use the systems, tools, and integrations in place.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in systems administration, with a strong understanding of MarTech and marketing operations.
- Proven experience working with HubSpot or similar marketing CRM technologies, including custom workflows, automations and process builders
- Experience with API integrations, data synchronization, and managing connectors between systems.
- Possess a strong understanding of systems data architecture to help define and structure the flow of data across technologies
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Salesforce to Hubspot integrations
- Experience configuring lead activity and status changes across multiple platforms in a tech stack
- Experience in an Agile environment and familiarity with project management tools.
