BizTalk Developer

About the role:

Enavate is looking for a BizTalk Developer for contract cooperation (40 hours per week) for at least 6 months with the potential contract extension.

Your day will consist of:

• Design and development of B2B Integration using Microsoft BizTalk Server 2020, following specifications provided by both internal and external designers.
• Liaising with the project manager to ensure development is progressing within the specified timeframe
• Completion of test schedules as defined by the internal functional teams.
• Documentation and handover of development solution to Arrow ECS technical staff

Here is what it takes to be successful in the role:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial environment
• Mature development skills in the following areas are essential:
  • Microsoft Biztalk Server 2013 or higher (2016 or 2020 Preferred)
  • Microsoft .Net Development - C#
  • XML
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or higher (2014 or 2019 Preferred)
• Skills in the following areas are desirable:
  • Web Services (SOAP / RESTful)
  • IIS
  • WCF
  • Team Foundation Server
  • AS2 and EDI (EDIFACT / X12)
  • RosettaNet
  • Azure Devops
• Experience of operating within a multi-dimensional IT team and using own initiative
• Lateral thinking ability and problem solving capability
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Experience of similar integration projects
• Professional and disciplined outlook
• Ability to work to tight timescales
