We at Coforge are hiring Mid Performance Engineer (#21456) with the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
- Perform load, stress, spike, and endurance testing to validate system performance and scalability.
- Monitor application performance and identify bottlenecks, latency issues, and resource constraints.
- Analyze test results and prepare performance reports with recommendations for optimization and improvements.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues.
- Support performance tuning efforts across applications, databases, and infrastructure environments.
- Contribute to performance engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in performance testing or performance engineering.
- Hands-on experience with at least one performance testing tool such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
- Strong understanding of performance metrics including response time, throughput, CPU utilization, and memory consumption.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, SQL, and web technologies.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with performance optimization initiatives across applications and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with modern monitoring and observability practices.
- Exposure to cloud environments and distributed systems performance analysis.
