We at Coforge are hiring Senior Performance Engineer (#21457) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
• Perform load, stress, spike, and endurance testing to validate system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Monitor application performance and identify bottlenecks, latency issues, and resource utilization concerns.
• Analyze performance test results and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations for optimization and improvement.
• Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve performance-related issues.
• Support performance tuning initiatives across applications, databases, and infrastructure environments.
• Contribute to performance engineering best practices and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing or performance engineering.
• Hands-on experience with at least one performance testing tool such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
• Strong understanding of performance metrics including response time, throughput, CPU utilization, and memory consumption.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, SQL, and web technologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development and QA teams in agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting performance tuning initiatives across applications and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with modern monitoring and observability practices.
• Exposure to cloud environments and distributed systems performance analysis.
