We at Coforge are hiring a ServiceNow Developer - ERP (#21929) with the following profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform across modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, CMDB, Asset Management, and ITOM.
- Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code using JavaScript (server-side and client-side), including Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
- Design and implement integrations using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware architectures, applying patterns such as ETL, e-bonding, and event-driven solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and support across multiple ServiceNow instances, including access control, workflows, integrations, and platform upgrades.
- Develop and manage scoped applications, ensuring alignment with ServiceNow best practices and Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Design and implement ServiceNow solutions (forms, workflows, scripts, and integrations) to meet business needs and enhance platform performance.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance, ensuring stability and adherence to best practices; experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF) is a plus.
- Ensure security and compliance by implementing secure coding practices, ACLs, and platform hardening activities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and provide training to users and administrators.
- Leverage ServiceNow AI capabilities (Now Assist) for intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and enhanced user experience.
- Drive continuous improvement by staying up to date with ServiceNow features and identifying optimization opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Strong experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow, particularly in ITSM, ITOM, and HAM modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (server-side and client-side scripting).
- Experience with IntegrationHub and API development (REST/SOAP).
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform administration, including user management, workflows, integrations, and reporting.
- Experience with scoped application development and knowledge of CSDM.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow product implementations is a plus.
Technical Skills
- ServiceNow Platform: Configuration, workflows, forms, scripting, and administration.
- Development: JavaScript (Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Script Includes).
- Integrations: IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware architectures.
- Architecture: Understanding of CSDM and platform data models.
- Testing: Experience with ATF and regression testing practices.
- Security: ACLs, data protection, and platform compliance best practices.
AI & Automation Skills
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Now Assist features, including AI-assisted development (Build Agent), virtual agents, and predictive intelligence.
- Ability to assess and validate AI-generated outputs for quality and compliance.
Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow Certifications (CAD, CSA, CIS).
- ITIL v4 certification or strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes.
- Experience working in enterprise or multi-instance ServiceNow environments.
