We at Coforge are hiring a Mid-Level Software Engineer with the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities
· Support system migration and modernization initiatives.
· Configure and implement platform solutions based on business requirements.
· Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation and operational tasks.
· Manage source code using GitHub and follow source control best practices.
· Perform testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
· Analyze data and ensure accuracy across systems and processes.
· Document technical processes, configurations, and findings.
· Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 4 years of experience in software engineering or technical systems support.
· Experience with GitHub and source control management.
· Strong Bash scripting skills.
· Experience troubleshooting and analyzing technical systems.
· Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
· Excellent communication and documentation skills.
· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with migration or system implementation projects.
· Familiarity with platform configuration and deployment activities.
· Exposure to QA, testing, and verification processes.
· Basic knowledge of COBOL or legacy/mainframe environments.
· Experience working in enterprise environments.
