Environmental Scientist, Engineer or Geologist

We are currently seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist, Engineer or Geologist for our Houston, TX office.  This is an excellent opportunity to join and grow EnSafe, getting involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients across the globe.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:

  • Performing Phase I/II environmental site assessments 
  • Preparation of work plans 
  • Conducting site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water, and building materials)
  • Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; and preparation of plans and reports. 
  • Field documentation 
  • Assist in writing technical reports

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of a BS (MS preferred) in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related science.
  • 2-5 years of experience (previous internships are helpful)
  • Professional registration, certification, GID, geotechnical, and/or geophysics experience are a plus
  • Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Programs including Word and Excel 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Regional travel likely

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Preferred, EIT, PE, GIT, or PG, and the ability to obtain a PE/PG license in other states.
