Environmental Scientist, Engineer or Geologist

We are currently seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist, Engineer or Geologist for our Houston, TX office. This is an excellent opportunity to join and grow EnSafe, getting involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients across the globe.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
- Performing Phase I/II environmental site assessments
- Preparation of work plans
- Conducting site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water, and building materials)
- Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; and preparation of plans and reports.
- Field documentation
- Assist in writing technical reports
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Requires a minimum of a BS (MS preferred) in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related science.
- 2-5 years of experience (previous internships are helpful)
- Professional registration, certification, GID, geotechnical, and/or geophysics experience are a plus
- Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Programs including Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Regional travel likely
Preferred Skills:
- Preferred, EIT, PE, GIT, or PG, and the ability to obtain a PE/PG license in other states.
