Senior Environmental Consulting Professional

EnSafe is currently seeking a part-time Senior Environmental Consulting Professional to join our Long Beach or San Diego, CA office.
Candidates may work remotely within Southern California.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Consulting Professional to lead client engagements, expand EnSafe’ s consulting services, and drive business growth. In this role, you will support environmental Phase I, II, and remediation projects that are completed under regulatory oversight.
Duties/Responsibilities
In this position, you will consult with clients, providing the following services:
- Provide senior support with complex environmental site assessment, investigation, and remediation projects.
- Provide expert guidance on navigating CalEPA oversight programs.
- Facilitate communication between clients and regulatory oversight agencies.
- Develop strategies for obtaining letter of No Further Action or Site Closure.
- Provide senior technical review of project deliverables
Skills / Experience
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences, Occupation Health, or a related field.
- 15+ years of environmental site assessment, investigation, and remediation experience.
- High level of familiarity of regulatory environmental oversight programs administered by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control, State Water Resources Board, and other California environmental regulatory agencies.
- A “seller-doer” with a proven track record in business development.
- Project management experience, including developing scopes of work, cost proposals, schedules, and managing multiple project teams simultaneously.
- Strong technical writing skills; able to produce concise reports, including technical data review and analysis.
- Strong consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and client-facing skills.

The minimum salary for this position in California is $72,384 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including education, related work experience, certifications, skills, and current market conditions.
California Salary Range
$120,000 - $220,000 USD
