The Ideal Candidate

The Role
As a Software Engineer II, you’ll contribute to building and enhancing the solutions developed by the Signal Processing team, which play a key role in Entersekt’s innovation pipeline. This team processes large volumes of data to improve authentication and fraud detection systems.
You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, data scientists, and DevOps professionals, helping to develop secure, scalable microservices. While technical leadership isn't required at this level, you’ll have opportunities to expand your expertise and grow within the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices that process large volumes of data in real time.
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of data processing pipelines, integrating with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to the development of machine learning workflows, supporting fraud detection and authentication solutions.
- Work alongside DevOps engineers to deploy and scale microservices in cloud environments.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and technical discussions, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code.
- Support architectural improvements to optimize performance, security, and scalability.
Skills and Experience
Successful candidates for this role will generally possess the following qualifications and skills:
- 3+ years of experience in software development using Golang.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including services like Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Familiarity with large-scale data processing technologies, such as Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Basic understanding of machine learning workflows and their integration into production systems (advantageous but not required).
- Knowledge of software architecture principles, with experience working in microservices-based environments.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure software stability.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience is highly valued.
