Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk reports to the Operations Accounting Manager and will provide direct support for processing various types of accounts payable transactions with a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable invoices to ensure that transactions are processed accurately and that vendors are paid timely.
- Accurately enter invoice data into the system for a high volume of transactions.
- Enter invoices for a specific set of entities.
- Reconcile invoices to purchase orders and good receipts (3-way matching).
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies associated with the processing of invoices and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Ensure all vendor invoices are scanned and saved with appropriate naming convention.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or similar data processing role.
- Meticulous and self-motivated individual with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage high volume transactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Open to change and willing to learn new skills.
- Ability to follow up on pending issues.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize your own work activities, manage time efficiently and follow policies and procedures.
- Motivated self-starter.
- Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting and Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial data.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, training, etc.
Salary Range
$20.44 - $24.89 USD
