HR Business Partner
The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Business Partner to join our dynamic People team at ESW. Based out of our European headquarters in our Madrid office, you will work alongside a senior HRBP to play a pivotal role in partnering with our Leaders within our technology hubs in Madrid and Dublin to deliver our people strategy; being part of a business partnering team committed to building a high performing culture that enables our employees to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic partnership and counsel to leaders on talent development, performance management, employee relations, change management, organisational design, etc.
- Own, build and implement HR initiatives and processes incorporating best practice to support the company’s people strategy.
- Coach and develop leaders at all levels within the organization, from line managers through executives.
- Collaborate with other HR Team functions (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, etc.) to advise the design and implementation of relevant programs.
- Ongoing review, implementation & maintenance of the full range of policies required to ensure HR best practice. Communicate how to apply policies and deliver awareness.
- Establish, monitor and analyse HR metrics and performance indicators and design appropriate strategies.
- Assist in all talent acquisition activities including experienced hire recruitment domestically and internationally, global mobility, graduate recruitment and the Internal Secondment Programmes to ensure sufficient workforce planning is in place.
- Ensure that employee surveys are conducted, and that data gathered is analysed and champion appropriate programmes to achieve people and business strategy.
- Support relevant manager in handling routine employee relations issues including grievance and disciplinary issues, ensuring cases are addressed and resolved in a timely manner, following best practice.
- Work with the broader HR team to build and execute plans for employee involvement and engagement initiatives across the organisation.
- You will act as a culture ambassador, encouraging diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in HR, ideally 2+ years in a Business Partner position.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in HR, Psychology, business or related fields.
- Experience of designing and implementing new and innovative HR processes.
- Experience of handling employee relations issues to completion.
- Proven capability to lead on and implement HR projects and processes.
- People oriented and results driven.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong experience and a thorough understanding of operational HR processes and practice.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- You have excellent judgement and problem-solving capabilities; as well as the ability to make thoughtful decisions.
- Experience in a fast-moving dynamic Technology company is an advantage.
