Dispute Analyst

The Opportunity

Join ESW as a Dispute Analyst and play a crucial role in preventing fraud and financial losses for leading global brands. This position offers an opportunity to make a direct impact in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Bulleted listExamine payment discrepancies from various card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.).
• Prepare and submit compelling, well-documented evidence to challenge illegitimate disputes.
• Monitor and manage dispute cases within required timeframes to prevent automatic losses.
• Identify trends related to fraud or abuse and call out findings to management when needed.
• Collaborate with the risk and fraud teams to flag suspicious activity or transactions.
• Contribute to process improvements and policy updates.
• Stay current on changes to dispute resolution rules and guidelines.
• Engage with the disputes specialist to analyse win-rate patterns and discover areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bulleted list1+ years of experience handling chargeback/dispute processes (a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
• Attitude towards efficiency and continuous improvement, especially in AI implementation for efficiency.
• Knowledge of card network rules and dispute reason codes.
• Proficiency with Excel or similar tools for data tracking and analysis.
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to handle a high-volume of cases while meeting strict deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills, particularly for drafting representments.
• Experience with tools such as Accertify, Ekata, and Zendesk (a plus).
