Systems Software Engineer - Middleware Support

Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Systems Software Engineer to join our Middleware Support team. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in systems software engineering and be capable of providing comprehensive support for Middleware COTS systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance for complex information processing problems.
- Perform detailed analyses and studies, prepare comprehensive reports, and deliver presentations.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Middleware systems and infrastructure.
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Middleware packages in development, test, and production environments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and standards.
- Participate in integrated development and test environment efforts to ensure proper integration of application functionality.
- Collaborate with customers, other teams and developers to enable integration solutions for specific requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in systems software engineering roles.
- Expertise in Middleware products such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, SiteMinder, CA Directory, Informatica, WebMethods, BOE, IBM MQ Series, QMail, and XML Gateway.
- Strong understanding of various operating systems including Solaris, Linux, Mainframe, and Windows.
- Proficiency in automation and containerization tools such as Ansible Tower and OpenShift.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working in an agile lifecycle environment such as Scrum or Kanban.
Minimum Eligibility:
- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
