Job Description

  1. Develop and implement functional safety concepts for complex systems and products in Automotive-Domain.
  2. Conduct safety analyses and risk assessments in accordance with relevant safety standards.
  3. Define safety requirements for hardware and software components.
  4. Provide technical expertise in functional safety to various teams within the company.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of safety requirements into the design and development processes.
  6. Conduct safety analyses including FMEA, FMEDA, TSR, HARA and DFA.
  7. Support the development teams in creation and review of safety-critical systems.
  8. Ensure compliance with ISO-26262, and other relevant safety standards.
  9. Provide guidance and support to project teams on safety-related issues.
  10. Create and maintain safety documentation, including Hazard-Analyses, Safety-Plans, and Safety-Usecases.
  11. Stay up to date with the latest safety standards and regulations, and ensure compliance.
  12. Generate Functional-Safety-related Work-Products that meet ISO26262 Work-Product Quality-Requirements, and Ethernovia Development Processes.
  13. Conduct Trainings and Workshops on Functional-Safety within the Organization.
  14. Continuously improve processes and tools related to Functional-Safety. 

Technical Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  2. Candidate should have experience in working on Functional-Safety within Automotive-Domain.
  3. Proven experience in functional safety standards such as ISO-26262 and related specifications.
  4. Knowledge of software development, verification, and validation processes.
  5. Ability to conduct safety analysis (FMEA, FTA, etc.), and development of safety concepts.
  6. Experience in safety-related project management, and coordination.
  7. Excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  8. Familiarity with safety-related hardware, and software components, and their integration.
  9. Certification in Functional-Safety is a plus.

  1. Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and in a team.
  2. Excellent communication/documentation skills.
  3. Attention to details.
