About the role
Ethos is looking for an Annuity Operations professional that’s highly enthusiastic about working in a rapidly growing business. You will be responsible for driving the Annuity Ops team towards operational excellence by being a versatile, dynamic team-player who can effectively execute day-to-day tasks related to the Annuity Ops function. You thrive in a small team where you can make a big impact and will work collaboratively across disciplines to meet your objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- High-impact self-starter who takes the initiative to move projects forward and can operate independently when given direction
- Collaborate with the sales team to decrease their administrative workload & increase sales activities
- Contribute to the development and documentation of annuity-related processes
- Process new annuity business to include application submission, funding, and commissions
- Communicate directly with annuity carriers to move business forward and keep sales team informed
- Collaborate with the licensing & appointment team to onboard new hires
- Improve the speed and efficiency of our growth by collaborating with Product, Marketing, and RevOps to create, test, and launch process and product enhancements
- Focus on building elegant, robust processes, and scalable systems within an agile environment
- Help optimize CRM workflows and data entry processes
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, annuities, life insurance, investing, or other analytically-intensive roles at either well-established firms or high-growth tech startups
- Ability to flex between high-level strategic thinking and deep-dive analytical problem solving
- Agile self-starter with desire to own and be accountable for projects from Day 1
- Excellent communication skills and effective cross-functional collaborator
- Exceptional attention to detail and presentation skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible work environments
- Salesforce system admin experience
- Experience using sales technologies
- Prefer Annuity, Life Insurance, or Investment sales experience
- Prefer experience with Firelight or other annuity order entry systems

The US national base salary range for this full-time position is $83,000 - $147,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
