About the role (What you’ll be doing)

We are seeking a passionate self-starter to join as an Operations Associate working in our Supply Chain & Fulfilment team. This role will involve both day-to-day management of our Logistics network, as well as scoping and executing on improvement initiatives to help us solve some of the biggest operational problems facing our business - such as expanding our physical product offering, scaling our fulfilment network, and driving cost reductions. 

The Operations Associate will report directly into the Operations Lead, and will be responsible for Supply Chain reporting, relationship management with our logistics carriers, as well as proactively leading projects to improve the Operations of our business. We’re looking for a structured thinker with relentless focus on understanding the ‘why’, someone who is data and process driven, loves problem solving and embraces a continuous improvement mindset.

As our Operations Associate, you will:

  • Own our supply chain reporting, including monitoring costs, pharmacy performance, carrier performance metrics, such as DIFOT, and scoping ways to improve data accuracy and build in automation
  • Support scoping and implementation of initiatives to improve our pharmacy fulfilment and last-mile delivery experience and scale our capacity as order volumes grow
  • Partner with suppliers to ensure cost effective and timely purchasing of key materials, particularly medication and packaging to support our pharmacy fulfilment
  • Work closely with the Operations Lead on step-change improvement projects including expanding our product offering, scaling our network and driving cost reductions
  • Act as the primary point of contact internally for logistics-related issues and key suppliers, support relevant customer enquiries and work with internal teams to resolve any problems that arise

 

About you (Who you are)

  • 2-3 years experience in a supply chain, operations, consulting, or strategy role or in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Exceptional analytics and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, carriers and suppliers.
  • Strong organisation and decision making skills, with experience running end-to-end projects.
  • Resilience and ability to take initiative and drive outcomes in our constantly-changing fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work openly, challenge respectfully, share insights freely and own your mistakes.
  • Passion for changing healthcare to improve the lives of patients.
