About the Role

We’re looking for a highly strategic and execution-oriented Manager, Legal Operations to help build the operational infrastructure that enables our teams to scale effectively.

This role sits at the intersection of Legal Operations, Business Operations, Systems, and Cross-Functional Execution, partnering across departments to improve how the company operates.

You’ll own key operational processes within Legal while also driving cross-functional initiatives that bring together teams, systems, workflows, and information. A core part of the role will be creating greater operational visibility, reducing friction between teams, and ensuring the right processes and tools are in place as the company scales.

This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, building structure from scratch, and making organizations run better.

What You'll Own

Legal Operations

  • Build and manage scalable operational processes for the Legal organization.
  • Manage Legal workflows, intake processes, documentation, and operational reporting.
  • Partner with Legal leadership to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and scalability.
  • Support contract, matter, vendor, and other Legal operations and reporting as appropriate.
  • Develop systems and processes that improve visibility into Legal activity, workload, and business impact.
  • Coordinate cross-functional Legal initiatives with Finance, GTM, Product, Security, and other teams.

Global Business Operations

  • Own and improve cross-functional business processes that span multiple departments and geographies.
  • Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and duplicated efforts and design scalable solutions.
  • Build operating mechanisms that improve visibility, accountability, and execution across the organization.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand operational needs and translate them into effective processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Lead special projects and strategic operational initiatives on behalf of company leadership.
  • Serve as an operational partner to teams navigating new processes, organizational changes, or scaling challenges.

Business Systems & Tooling

  • Own the operational lifecycle of business tools and systems, including evaluating business needs, coordinating procurement, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Partner with functional leaders to evaluate new tooling and ensure solutions are aligned with business requirements.
  • Coordinate vendor selection, negotiations, renewals, and ongoing vendor management in partnership with Finance and Legal.
  • Maintain visibility into the company's business tooling landscape and identify opportunities to consolidate, streamline, or optimize tools and spend.
  • Establish scalable processes for business tool requests, approvals, implementation, and governance.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and reduce unnecessary operational work.

Cross-Functional Operations & Information Flow

  • Help connect information and workflows across departments so teams have the context they need to operate effectively.
  • Establish consistent processes for collecting, maintaining, and sharing operational information across teams.
  • Partner with functional leaders to ensure critical business information is accessible and actionable.
  • Identify gaps where teams, systems, or processes are not working together effectively and drive solutions.
  • Translate complex cross-functional needs into clear processes, ownership, and execution plans.
  • Lead projects that require coordination across multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Support executive leadership with operational planning, analysis, and special projects.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Legal Operations, Strategy & Operations, or a similar operational role, ideally with an early-stage SaaS company.
  • Experience operating in a fast-growing, high-ambiguity environment.
  • AI-native skillset, with demonstrated experience building agents and workflows.
  • In-depth experience with contract legal management and similar operations systems, including building implementations, processes, workflows, and operating infrastructure from scratch.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to identify operational gaps and create practical solutions.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to drive complex cross-functional initiatives to completion.
  • Experience with business systems, tooling, procurement, vendor management, and operational process design.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.
  • High degree of ownership and comfort operating without a predefined playbook.
  • Strong judgment and ability to determine when a problem requires a new process, system, workflow, or cross-functional intervention.
  • Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams without needing to own the underlying technical infrastructure.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
