Vice President of Supply Chain
Clean luxury. Better for you. At Everlane, we believe luxury should be as effortless as it is conscious. We partner with ethical factories, work with premium, sustainably sourced materials, and strive to leave the industry cleaner than we found it. There's still much to do, and we're excited to grow a team of motivated humans ready for the challenge. The journey toward better continues.
The VP of Supply Chain will oversee Product Development, Sourcing, Raw Materials, Technical Design, Logistics, and Sustainability. This person will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing Everlane’s supply chain strategies and goals, as well as delivering elevated, high-quality products with a focus on sustainability and ethical practices. This team will consist of five direct reports, with a team size of 20 or more team members.

They have the ability to simplify and translate company goals into actionable steps for their team. As a strong connective partner to the head of Design and head of Merchandising, they can guide the team from concept to planning to execution, working closely with teams to learn, assess, and improve where necessary in the supply chain process flow. This is a high-impact role that will shape the company’s product from cost to fit, while preserving sustainability at its core. We are seeking an individual to lead our supply chain team and manage relationships with our overseas vendor partners.
Your day-to-day:
- Develop and communicate a quality-focused, cost-effective supply chain strategy that integrates a dedication to ethical and transparent business practices and considerations, aligning with and supporting Everlane’s brand goals.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the Product Pipeline that support a thoughtful approach to developing beautiful products sourced from high-quality raw materials while optimizing vendor capacity management and working within an efficient transportation strategy. I.e., speed to market, product execution, new sources of manufacturing, and best practices to create long-term sustainable industry impact.
- Ensure the communication and delivery of the Supply Chain team's work, including cost plans, sourcing strategies, fit processes, product quality, and delivery requirements, in support of cross-functional teams in Merchandising and Design.
- Oversee transportation operations with a focus on driving cost-saving initiatives, emphasizing sustainability through reducing carbon emissions, fuel efficiency, and incorporating eco-friendly practices.
- Safeguard Everlane’s commitment to remaining transparent and accountable by leading the preparation and publication of comprehensive ESG reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and frameworks.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 20+ years of experience in Supply Chain with a focus on Production/Sourcing, Technical Design, Logistics, and Sustainability in roles of increasing scope, complexity, and leadership responsibility with specific experience in a direct-to-consumer business model.
- Extensive knowledge of trade regulations, testing protocol, product integrity, production cycle timeline, fabric and garment construction, cost management, and process optimization.
- Take your industry knowledge and use your analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills to problem solve, collaborate, and negotiate across teams and differing pov’s to inform and influence Everlane's business strategies.
- Be constantly curious and desire to anticipate future supply chain trends related to the apparel industry and respond with competitive, creative, sustainable, and ethical business solutions.
- They are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and work with the team when necessary; we are a scrappy business with big ambitions, and from time to time, our Leaders need to be able to work alongside their teams.
- Ability to travel internationally 2-3 times annually, which could vary depending on business needs.
- A natural love to grow and retain top talent, develop skills in others, and, when necessary, recruit and onboard external talent aligned with organizational needs.
