Everlaw is revolutionizing legal technology by seamlessly integrating advanced computer science with an intuitive user experience. We're seeking a dynamic Solutions Architect Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Director of Solutions Architecture. In this key leadership role, you'll guide and mentor a talented team of Solutions Architects, empowering them to collaborate closely with our sales team to secure new business and ensure the successful onboarding of our valued clients. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to serve as the Senior Solutions Architect on strategic deals. You'll play a pivotal role in coaching and inspiring your team, designing scalable processes to enhance efficiency, and fostering strong collaborations with cross-functional partners. Leading by example, you'll also leverage your extensive domain and industry knowledge to exemplify the role of an Everlaw Solutions Architect at the highest level. Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this position.

Whether it be a timely follow up on a request for information, a cold call, or an expo booth visit, the Sales team is often the first point of interactions for prospective Everlaw clients and the team strives to make those conversations memorable and impactful. Sales focuses on delivering excellence through every step of an organization's diligence of improving litigation and discovery workflows, employing genuine curiosity in discovery calls, conducting highly tailored demonstrations and presentations, and curating compelling proofs of value to ensure that our new customers can come on board with a clear path to achieving success.

This is a full-time position based in our New York City office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home Tu/Fr.

In your role, you'll...

  • Build out your team by recruiting, coaching, and supporting world-class Solutions Architects (SAs).
  • Establish strong, trust-based relationships with each of your direct reports.
  • Operate on an increasingly autonomous level, proactively finding coaching and skills development opportunities for your team as you get more comfortable in your role.
  • Operate as a player-coach, with the ability to perform the role of a Senior Solutions Architect for key accounts.
  • Develop and own a robust pre-sales process to support the sales team through each stage of the sales cycle.
  • Lead, train, and inspire your team everyday to exceed their goals.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and career development to SAs.
  • Monitor and accurately report on SA metrics and results.  
  • Drive improvements in productivity, process, and efficiency each day.

About you

  • You have at least 5+ years of experience as a a high-performing Sales Engineer (or similar) whether as a manager of a team or an individual contributor
  • You have at least 2 years of experience within the eDiscovery field (5+ highly desired), preferably with hands on end user and administrative experience with Relativity and other legacy platforms. A JD (Juris Doctor) is desirable.
  • You are relentlessly goal-oriented and data-driven, and have been a top performing Solutions Architect.
  • You thrive in high-accountability environments and are a true player-coach that will lead by example.
  • You are organized and excel at handling multiple responsibilities at the same time, thriving at meeting deadlines and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have advanced knowledge of, and experience with Everlaw or other SaaS eDiscovery platform(s).
  • You are a service-oriented leader and a thoughtful, clear, and friendly communicator.
  • You are authorized to work in the United States. Please note that at this time, Everlaw is not sponsoring visas for this position.

  • For experienced managers of the sales engineering or solutions architecture teams in eDiscovery, the expected On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is $260,000 with a $182,000 base salary. The role's compensation is subject to change in the future.
