About the role

We are seeking a visionary and passionate leader to join our team as Director of Account Executives. As Director of Account Executives, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction, retention but most importantly upsell and cross sale growth. 

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive account growth strategy that aligns with our company's overall business goals. 

You will also be responsible for leading a team of account executives who are dedicated to helping our customers achieve their desired outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an account success strategy to achieve customer expansion and renewal targets 
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, providing leadership, mentorship, and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue targets
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing, product, sales ops and support teams to identify opportunities and promote sales excellence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers to understand their needs and seek opportunities to drive successful sales campaigns. 
  • Create and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports, and provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance and pipeline metrics
  • Continuously assess and refine sales processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Champion a customer-centric culture 
  • Maintain technical knowledge to support understanding of client's requirements and the positioning of Everway products

Essential Criteria

  • 3+ years experience in a sales leadership role
  • Proven ability to motivate and mentor teams to embed culture of high performance
  • A proven track record of driving growth and renewals within customer accounts
  • Successful track record in senior level negotiations including both technical and business issues
  • Proven experience closing complex deals through a lengthy sales cycle and building strategic relationships
  • Proven track record of preparing, presenting and discussing robust business proposals to senior stakeholders and executives
  • Effective communication skills eg negotiation, strategic thinking, empathy when managing both internal and external stakeholders
  • Track record of providing accurate and timely activity, pipe and sales performance reporting to senior leadership teams
  • Experience with SaaS sales strategies and associated metrics
  • Experience using Salesforce or other relevant CRM systems, and proficient in the use of Google Suite or MS Office
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills
  • Deep understanding of sales methods such as MEDDPICC

Desirable Criteria

  • Third level education focusing on business or related field
  • Proficiency in customer success technology
  • Experience successfully working with senior (C-level) executives
