Sales Development Representative (6 months, FTC)

About the role

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll play an important role in helping us connect with prospective customers and grow our Workplace business.

Working closely with our Business Development Managers and Marketing team, you'll identify and engage potential customers, qualify opportunities and arrange meetings that support the sales pipeline. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in B2B sales within a collaborative and supportive team.

This is a 6 month, fixed-term contract role.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, including phone, email and social channels.
  • Qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and progress them to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) using agreed qualification processes.
  • Schedule high-quality appointments for Business Development Managers in line with agreed targets.
  • Explain Everway's products and solutions to prospective customers and identify where they can add value.
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within our CRM and sales engagement platforms.
  • Research target organisations and build prospect lists that support business growth.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing colleagues to improve lead quality and conversion.
  • Produce reports and maintain accurate records to support pipeline management and business performance.
  • Represent Everway professionally and ensure every prospective customer has a positive first experience.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Essential Criteria 

  • 1+ year of experience in a sales development, lead generation or business development role.
  • Experience engaging prospective customers through outbound channels such as phone, email or LinkedIn.
  • A track record of achieving individual activity or performance targets.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage customer and prospect information.
  • Good IT skills, including Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Able to communicate clearly and build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in developing a career in sales.
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Desirable Criteria

  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment.
  • Understanding of digital products and technology solutions.
  • Experience using sales engagement platforms such as Outreach or similar.
