About Us

We are an international AI automation company headquartered in North America, with offices in Vancouver, Seoul, and Manila. We are now establishing our Shenzhen engineering hub.

Our core product is “Company Brain” — an enterprise-grade workflow and decision automation platform built on LLM API–powered agents and structured data pipelines.

We do not train or fine-tune models. Our focus is on building reliable and scalable systems on top of LLM APIs. The Shenzhen team will serve as a core R&D center for AI workflow engines, backend systems, and 0→1 product foundations. 

 

Role Overview

You will build and maintain the backend foundation for Hand Squad Alpha’s HR Automation System — the first operational module of EviSmart’s “Company Brain.” Your work powers AI-driven JD generation, CV parsing, candidate evaluation, scorecard automation, and integrations with Greenhouse and internal systems.

 

The entire squad depends on fast, reliable backend systems to ship weekly features, automate recruiter workflows, and convert messy HR data into structured intelligence. This role directly accelerates talent velocity, reduces manual labor, and forms the backbone of EviSmart’s long-term automation strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain backend services that support AI agents, HR workflows, and high-frequency API calls.

- Transform unstructured HR data (JDs, CVs, scorecards) into structured, machine-readable formats.

- Integrate external APIs (LLM providers, Greenhouse Harvest API, Company Brain services).

- Create internal tools and endpoints that support labeling workflows, recruiter agents, and data ingestion.

- Ensure backend systems remain simple, stable, fast, and easy to iterate in a rapidly evolving environment.

 

Requirements

- Strong Python backend experience (FastAPI preferred).

- Solid understanding of API design, async workflows, and lightweight service architecture.

- Hands-on experience calling LLM APIs (OpenAI, DeepSeek, Gemini,kimi, Qwen, etc.).

- Able to write clean, readable code that supports high iteration speed.

- Able to document requirements, APIs, and decisions clearly in English.

 

 Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience building pipelines for unstructured → structured data.

Familiarity with Greenhouse Harvest API.

Knowledge of Postgres/Redis, Docker, or simple containerized deployments.

Experience working in early-stage or high-ambiguity engineering environments.

 

Location

Shenzhen (Futian). Remote-friendly during early setup.

Work with distributed teams across North America and Asia.
