Finance Operations Manager

BGC, Manila, Philippines

Finance Operations Manager

What EviSmart Is Building

EviSmart is the leading dental Autopilot system operating across 28 countries in a $40B healthcare industry, and the Manila team builds and ships it. Not an MVP. Not a pilot. Live, in production, with thousands of dental labs and dentists depending on the platform every day to run their business.

We have multiple in-house AI teams building the next generation of dental design automation, and Manila is where it gets operationalized. We are one of the few genuinely AI-first companies in the Philippines. The models are being built here. The product is scaling here. The opportunity is here.

Why EviSmart

Leading dental Autopilot system in a $40B global healthcare industry, operating across 28 countries, live in production. Multiple in-house AI teams building proprietary models, not just consuming APIs. Claude, Cursor, Luvable, and LLM-powered workflows are part of the daily stack
Manila is not a back office. It is the delivery engine. Operations, AI, product, and engineering all run from here.

Your work ships globally. We promote based on output, not tenure. The people who move fastest here are the ones who own their work completely. 300+ people and growing, the career path is real because the company is growing into it

Why This Role Right Now

EviSmart is at the point where finance operations can no longer be treated as a set of separate functions. We need one strong owner across RTR, P2P, and Philippine tax compliance to make the whole engine accurate, scalable, and ready for the next stage of growth.

This role exists because the company is growing, the operational complexity is increasing, and the standard now is not just clean execution, but transformation.

You will step into a seat with visible ownership from day one, tightening close cycles, strengthening compliance, and improving the systems that support a global business shipping from Manila. This is not a cost center role parked in the background. Manila is the delivery engine, and finance here directly supports work that ships globally.

For the right person, this is the kind of role that makes you materially more valuable in three years because you will not just run finance operations, you will help scale them.

Note from Your Domain Leader

This role sits right at the intersection of control, scale, and real operational change. We need someone who is comfortable owning the details, close, compliance, process discipline, but who also sees where the function needs to go next and pushes it there.

The people who do well here are hands-on, sharp under pressure, and know how to lead a team without hiding behind hierarchy. You will work closely with finance, operations, IT, and external partners, so this role suits someone who likes being in the middle of important decisions and making things run better.

If that sounds like you, let’s talk.

What You Will Own (90-day outcomes)

  • Own on-time and accurate monthly and quarterly financial close cycles across core finance operations
  • Own full compliance with BIR filings and regulatory requirements, including deadlines, documentation, and submission quality
  • Deliver at least 1 to 2 process improvements or automation initiatives across RTR or P2P that improve accuracy, speed, or control
  • Own cross-functional finance operations coordination with internal teams and key stakeholders to reduce friction in day-to-day execution

How We Work

We share work before it is ready. We debate decisions openly and execute them quietly. We fix problems instead of escalating them. Manila is the delivery engine for a global platform, the standard is high and the pace is real.

A problem that sits for 48 hours is a retention problem. An ambiguous requirement is a build problem. We fix things before they escalate, and we expect everyone here to do the same.

If you have spent time waiting for permission to solve something obvious, you will notice the difference in your first week.

Why EviSmart and not a bigger company? Because at a bigger company, your work goes into a queue. Your output is handled by a template. Here, what you build ships to 28 countries. That is the kind of ownership most roles never give you, and we think the best people want it.

Qualifications and How to Apply

What you bring (must-haves)

  • Strong hands-on experience in Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Philippine tax compliance
  • CPA license with solid working knowledge of PFRS and IFRS
  • Proven people leadership and stakeholder management experience across finance operations

Also valuable

  • Experience in a shared services, multinational, or high-growth environment
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau

What we are not looking for

We are not looking for someone whose accounting experience is mostly theoretical or limited to reporting without real operations ownership. If you have not handled BIR compliance hands-on, this is not the right fit. We also need someone who has already led people and can operate beyond a narrow AP or AR scope.

How to Apply
