About the Role

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging digital learning experiences for employees, with a strong focus on AI-related learning content.

This role will work closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and the Learning & Development team to transform complex technical and business information into clear, practical, and learner-friendly courses. The Instructional Designer will create content directly inside Exadel’s AI-first LMS platform, using its built-in authoring capabilities, and will also develop video-based learning materials using Synthesia.

The role reports directly to the Head of Learning & Development and will work as part of a collaborative L&D team, including another Instructional Designer. During the first weeks, the person will receive full onboarding and training on the learning technology stack, internal processes, and content development standards.

Full additional training on the technical stack and internal processes will be provided during onboarding

What You’ll Do  

  • Participate in the analysis of training needs and help define the most suitable learning solution for self-paced or blended formats
  • Work with key stakeholders to clarify the expected behavior change, target audience, learning goals, and success criteria
  • Define the course structure, learning journey, practical activities, assessments, and required theoretical content
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to collect, clarify, organize, and validate learning content
  • Transform complex SME input into clear, practical, and learner-friendly training materials
  • Design and develop courses directly inside the Exadel AI-First LMS using the built-in authoring tool and available engagement features
  • Create supporting learning assets such as video scripts, knowledge checks, practice tasks, assessments, and job aids
  • Use Synthesia to develop AI-avatar videos when video-based learning is required
  • Prepare courses for SME and stakeholder review, collect feedback, and make necessary improvements
  • Ensure that final learning materials are accurate, engaging, well-structured, and aligned with adult learning principles
  • Collaborate with the L&D Technology Administrator on LMS setup and publishing, while owning the course content creation
  • Support continuous improvement of existing courses based on feedback, learner experience, and business needs

What You Bring 

  • Experience in instructional design, e-learning development, corporate training, or learning content creation
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design basics
  • Ability to translate business needs and behavior-change goals into effective learning solutions
  • Strong skills in structuring information and simplifying complex content
  • Experience working with subject matter experts and stakeholders
  • Ability to write clear, engaging, and learner-friendly learning content
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, authoring tools, or digital learning environments
  • Good communication, collaboration, and feedback-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain content quality
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn new AI-enabled learning tools and technologies
